We are here to actively address the national social objective of job creation among the youth by fostering sustainable, self-help entrepreneurs specifically skilled through creative development, life-skills training, and new venture business mentoring.
Why the
Polar Bear
In the icy snow laden regions of the Arctic, where a man’s heart can stop and the human body freezes within seconds of unprotected exposure, life anywhere on earth couldn’t be tougher.
And yet it is here, in the open plains of nothing but mile upon mile of powder white snow, that we find the gruelling terrain that is home to the great white Polar Bear – SOLOBEAR’s chosen icon to inspire budding entrepreneurs.
The SoloBear Art & Design youth development project will address four main learner fields of small business ownership and the creative arts:
- Entrepreneurship
- Financial literacy
- Drawing and Design
- Fine Art Painting

The SoloBear Art & Design Centre needs your help. We are aiming to raise South African R1,5 million [around US $100Â 000] to build a new youth hub for budding SoloBears.

SoloBear is a registered Non-Profit company in South Africa. We exist and survive wholly on the social goodwill, philanthropic gestures and kind generosity of our local, national and international brand supporters. To them we owe our everything.
